President of Guyana Cricket Board (GCB), Drubahadur, met with the team prior to their departure and wished them a safe and successful trip. He reminded them of their dominance last year, noting that it would be a phenomenal achievement if they repeat the success this year especially since they would not be playing at home. The President urged the boys to stick together and play as a team at all time, adding that they must not become complacent.

Territorial Development Officer (TDO), Colin Stuart, congratulated the boys for making the team and acknowledged their dedication to the preparatory training. The TDO noted that the weather was not favourable during the preparation but he is happy with the eagerness they showed to get as much practice as possible. Stuart called on the players to know their limitations and work towards their strengths and always put the team goals ahead of their personal goals.

Guyana will be competing against Jamaica on July 22, against Trinidad and Tobago on July 23, against Leeward Islands on July 25, against Barbados on July 27, against Windward Islands on July 30, and against ICC Americas on July 31. The final will be contested on August 2, 2015.
