Despite a few scattered showers in the third round of matches, in the 2018 GCB/Hand in Hand Insurance Under-19 One-Day Inter-County tournament, play was possible between Essequibo and Berbice at Tuschen grounds.

Essequibo batted first and scored a meager 59 runs all out in just 24.1 overs. Kurt Lovell was the only one to score double figures with 12. Bowling for Berbice, Kevlon Anderson grabbed 5 for 12, while valuable support came from Keith Simpson with 3 for 7. Berbice in reply comfortably reached their target with 5 wickets to spare in 28.5 overs. Kevlon Anderson top scored with 15, Junior Sinclair 14; Alex Algoo 13. Bowling for Essequibo, Joel fortune and Sherlon Anthony took 2 for 14 and 11 runs respectively.

Berbice won by 5 wickets.

Berbice and Select Under-17 were scheduled to do battle at the Lusignan Community Center ground on Saturday 28th April, 2018, from 09 00 hours, with the aim of obtaining the 2018 GCB/Hand in Hand Insurance Under-19 Inter County championship.
