Guyana is keen on recording a victory against Jamaica today in the fifth round of the WICB Regional Under-19 50-Overs Tournament which is hosted by St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Guyana is currently on sitting at second with 13.1 points from four matches. Windward Islands is at the top of the points table on 13.8 from four matches while Barbados is at three on 12.5 from four matches.
The land of many waters won their opening match by against the ICC Americas by six wickets before losing to Leeward Islands by 37 runs and rebounding to beat Trinidad and Tobago and Windward Islands by 52 runs and 38 runs respectively. Their clash against Jamaica who is on 9.1 points from four matches could see them advancing to number One on the points table with one match to go in the preliminary round against Barbados on August 19.
