Mr. Steve Etienne, the General Manager of the Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights (ECCO) Inc. says that all local organisations must come out in support of the mobilisation drive for St. Lucians to attend the upcoming test match between West Indies and India.
The ECCO General Manager said he expects very good crowds for Carnival and Caribbean Premiere League (CPL) and he’s hoping that St Lucians will follow the Dominican example of providing good crowds when test cricket is played at the Windsor Park in Dominica.
It is important that we show up and stand up for West Indies Cricket when St Lucia hosts its 5th Test match, West Indies –v- India from 9-13 August, 2016 as a good turn-out will encourage the WICB to bring more test cricket to St. Lucia, which has what is perceived to have the best cricket pitch in the region for both batsmen and bowlers.
In encouraging ECCO members to attend the Test Match, Mr. Etienne has also complimented the WICB for coming up with attractive admission charges of EC$30 for the first 3 days with the 4th and 5th day going at EC$40.
