As Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Leon Johnson and Assad Fudadin prepare to depart for South Africa on West Indies duties, Guyana Jaguars have named their replacement for their matchup against Barbados in the WICB PCL 4-Day Competition this weekend.
Tagenarine Chanderpaul will replace his father, Shimron Hetmyer comes in for Assad Fudadin and Vishaul Singh will take the leadership of the team from Leon Johnson.
Narsingh Deonarine, who have excelled with both bat and ball in the two matches, have been given the responsibility of vice captain. Deonarine has scored 283 runs in three innings which included two back to back centuries. He also had a five wicket haul in the second match.
So far the Jaguars have registered outright wins against Leeward Islands and Windward Islands to lead the points table on 34 points. They would be looking to make it three in three in their final home match this weekend.
