The GCB/CGI Jaguars 3 Day League, third round of matches commences on Thursday 8 September, 2016 from 0930 hours at four (4) venues across the country. The semi-professional league will see:
- Essequibo contesting Upper Demerara/ East Bank at the Everest Cricket Club ground.
- West Berbice competing against West Demerara at the Young Warriors Cricket Club ground.
- Upper Corentyne doing battle with Lower Corentyne at Port Mourant Community Centre.
- Georgetown challenging East Coast Demerara at the Georgetown Cricket Club ground, Bourda.
After the second run of matches Lower Corentyne heads the points table with 36.5 points, East Coast Demerara has 31.5 points, West Demerara on 21.5, Essequibo on 18.1, Georgetown on 10.6, West Berbice on 10.1, Upper Demerara/ East Bank on 9.7 and Upper Corentyne on 9.5.
