Rain once again took the headlines, forcing the abandonment of the entire round of the Regional Women’s Championship here Monday, without a ball being bowled.
No play was possible at Enmore where Guyana and Barbados were clashing, at Everest where Jamaica and Windward Islands were scheduled to do battle or at Enterprise where Leeward Islands and Trinidad and Tobago were expected to go head to head.
Rain also wreaked havoc on the two preceding rounds allowing just two matches of the scheduled six to be completed.
Heading into Wednesday’s fourth round, T&T top the standings with eight points with Barbados on seven and Windwards, Guyana and Leewards all on six. Jamaica are bottom on four.
