North Georgetown Primary defeated St Margaret’s Primary by five wickets to win the North Georgetown Zone of the GCB/Scotiabank Kiddy Progression One Cricket.

Playing at the Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue, St Margaret’s Primary won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they lost a wicket in the very first over of the innings and they never recovered, limping to 66/7 in 14 overs. None of their batsmen reached double figures as the North Georgetown Primary bowlers didn’t offer many ‘loose’ deliveries. Leading the bowling for North Georgetown Primary was Shaquel Jones who claimed 2/5.

In reply, North Georgetown Primary led by a composed 29 not out from Nigel Lowe got to their target in the 10th over, loosing five wickets in the process.
