The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) will host a flag raising ceremony at its headquarters in Antigua and Barbuda this morning to commemorate and celebrate 90 years as an ICC member country.
The event is scheduled to start at 9:30 am (ECT)/8:30 am (Jamaica time). You can watch a live stream below. The Gleaner Company in Jamaica will also stream the event at www.go-jamaica.com/wicb – You may use the hashtag #WICBAt90 for any live tweets during the event.
His Excellency, Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General and Prime Minister, Hon Gaston Browne are among two of the main speakers at the event. Dave Cameron, President will also bring brief remarks.
“The headquarters for the WICB has been based in Antigua and Barbuda for just under 20 years and the island has supported the board in its efforts for development and expansion,” according to Michael Muirhead, CEO.
The Board will host a series of events during the year to mark this milestone achievement.
