National Under-19 Females departed for Trinidad on 27th March, 2018

As the Guyana national cricket teams make their way across the Caribbean to represent Guyana, the National Female Under-19 team departed at 13 50 hours on Tuesday 27th March, 2018 from the Cheddi Jagan International airport in Timehri. The reigning champions, who defeated Trinidad & Tobago in the final round of the 2017 tournament, journeyed to Trinidad, where they will begin their mission to retain the Female Under-19 Invitational Regional tournament title. The team comprises of a number of players with experience at this level, and will be managed by Heema Singh and coached by CWI Level 3 Coach, Bharat Mangru.

The team is as follow:

Shabika Gajnabi (Captain), Mandy Mangru (Vice-Captain), Shenita Grimmond, Kushana Lynch, Omedevi Matadin, Lafona Gilgeows, Yogeeta Ballkishun, Casey Charles, Cherryanna Fraiser, Ashley Ramkisoon, Chrita Mahabir, Roshine Budhu, Sarah Amin and Varshmie Ramlall.
The GCB wishes the team all the best in the prestigious invitational tournament and anticipates the team retaining the championship title.
